Serving Seniors in “Style”

We are so pleased to report our 3rd Annual Style in Action Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show was a great success. Despite a few hiccups out of doors, our nearly-200 guests enjoyed amazing food and an exciting runway show featuring some of Marble Falls’ best shops and boutiques. Congratulations to Kelly Dix and her entire committee for the wonderful event and funds raised.

Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls is our favorite spot for events, and we applauded our guests for navigating the torn-up parking lot and trudging through wet ground. Our own Marco Cruz was busy shuttling people to and from, keeping the rain off and providing car-to-door service.

Our servers—distinguished gentlemen of Burnet County—were as charming as they were hard-working. They served drinks and lunch and together collected an additional $1,200 in tips for Meals on Wheels. As well, all of our volunteers who served, set up the room, collected items for the auction and kept things running smoothly were indispensable.

We are so pleased to have raised money for our local seniors by supporting Meals on Wheels of Williamson and Burnet Counties and are already in the planning stages for our Williamson County Harvest Style Show in October in Sun City.

We also want to give credit for the stunning centerpieces created from pots donated by Pottery Ranch and Shelly Townsend’s horticultural class from Burnet ISD.
