OWBC has served communities in Williamson and Burnet Counties for over 50 years as the area’s community action agency. With the ongoing support of our partners and generous community residents, we have been able to improve the quality of life for countless Williamson and Burnet County residents.

Every year, we raise funds for our programs to provide supplemental support for our neighbors in need. Donations help our Meals on Wheels seniors, Head Start children and their families, and all of our Community Services individuals and local families in need.

Meals on Wheels

Our Meals on Wheels program is most in need of financial support. In 2019, we served over 33,000 congregate meals and over 177,000 delivered meals to home bound seniors. With your support, we would like to surpass these numbers in 2020 and beyond.

Here’s how your donation makes a difference.

  • $8 feeds a senior for one day
  • $40 feeds a senior for one week
  • $80 feeds a senior for two weeks
  • $160 feeds a senior for one month
  • $1,920 feeds a senior for one year

Unrestricted Support

You can also support OWBC by giving unrestricted funds, which allow us to use funds where they are needed most. However, if you prefer for your donation to go directly to a specific program, type in your program preference in the memo. During this time of uncertainty, you can also donate funds directly to COVID-19 relief for our neighbors in need. Simply specify “COVID-19” in the memo.
